Scuba Diving at Rendezvous
The Rendezvous couple will experience the wonders of the ocean with St Lucian born Terroll Compton who is well acquainted with St. Lucia’s most exotic under water gardens. He is a master scuba diving trainer for both PADI and NAUI with more than 10 years experience at a number of well known Scuba Centers on the island.  Terroll and his team of diving instructors will take the Rendezvous couple down to the most romantic spots on the island for a truly breathtaking underwater look at St.Lucia's underworld. Our instructors and dive masters are certified by the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) - the world leader in training excellence. Resort courses are included for those wishing to try diving for the first time. All northern boat dives are also included in your Romantic Holiday.
Scuba for Novices and Non-Certified Guests
For those who are not certified divers, we offer a PADI Discover Scuba Diving program. The experience includes a 45 minute classroom session, an hour in the pool practising skills, then an ocean dive to a maximum depth of 40ft /12m on one of the beautiful reefs around the St. Lucia coast. You choose the depth with which you are most comfortable  and an instructor will accompany you at all times. The dive is very safe and loads of fun!
You can sign up at the Scuba Centre at Rendezvous but hurry, classes are very popular and they fill fast. With one more day or two half days you can earn a PADI Scuba licence or just three more days and earn yourself a Lifetime full PADI Open Water Scuba Diver license. It’s that easy!
PADI SCUBA Diver
Receive a worldwide license to go diving at maximum depths of 40ft /12m, accompanied by a PADI Professional. With only three modules to study, a few hours of "classroom tutorials" then three pool sessions, you will be on your way to becoming a licensed diver. Our experienced instructors will ensure that you get more comfortable with the equipment and learn a few more underwater skills. After that, complete two ocean dives and we will make you a qualified diver. If you have completed the Scuba Dive Course for Novices and Non-Certified Guests, one pool session and one ocean dive will be credited towards this course.
PADI Open Water
This course is conducted over a 3 day period. Once you become certified, you will receive a certification card, which  will allow you to dive to a maximum depth of 60 ft/ 18 m with any dive operation around the world with no further training.

General Information
Before you proceed to gear up for a dive you must download, print and complete the PADI Medical Form by answering YES or NO. If the answer is YES to any of these questions, please contact a physician before coming to Rendezvous. Please click here to download the medical form.

Please note that there is no scuba diving on the days of arrival or departure and on Sundays.

Rendezvous offers an inclusive one tank dive to our certified divers six days a week. Divers meet at 8:45 am and return at about 11:00 am. For Marine Park Trips, Divers meet at 8:30 am.

Depending on the dive site chosen, travel time takes between five to forty-five minutes and divers can choose from a back roll entry or giant stride.

Dive adventures begin with a gear set up and briefing at the dive shop then divers are escorted to the beach where they board our open boat.

All required equipment is included however divers are welcome to bring their own gear and store it in the Dive Centre.

You are required to bring your PADI Certification Card & log book, (please note that without the card you will not be allowed to dive).

All Scuba equipment, air fills, and boat trips are inclusive with the cost of each course.
Attire
Swimsuit, T-shirt, shorts or personal wet suit. Wetsuits are available for hire.
Photos/Videos
Rendezvous offers Underwater Camera hire and Underwater Videos, Underwater Photography and e-mail of your underwater experience.

Additional Information
All dive adventures require you to sign up in advance as space on our dive boat is limited to 16 passengers. You are also required to bring along sun tan lotion, sunglasses and a cap for protection from the sun.
